Kids Go Mad...Science

PK-5th grade students had a visit from a Mad Scientist.  Not the kind you might think though.  The coolest kind who gets kids excited about science.  Offering hands on experiments with magnets, chemical reactions, potions and air pressure demonstrations, this was a great assembly to get our kids fired up for science.

The students learned that magnets are stronger than them, but so are dixie cups when they join together.  They learned that if you heat up the air in a bag, that bag becomes a sort of hot air balloon.  They learned about the strength of air pressure.  If you are interested in learning more about how mad science can be, check out their website at https://stlouis.madscience.org/specialevents.aspx
