Pink Out Game
The Lonedell Basketball and Cheerleading students took part in the first Pink Out Game on December 19 against the Grandview Eagles. Playing to a sell out level crowd in a sea of pink, all of the athletes did a fantastic job. Through shirt sales, raffles, 50/50 drawing, and donations, over $1,000 is being donated to the American Cancer Society. The funds will benefit Franklin County residents that suffer from this debilitating disease.
A special shout out to Coaches Garrett Gliedt and Angela Hill, and volunteer John Love for making this event so successful. We couldn't do this without the support of our families and community. Thanks to all that volunteered, donated goods or money, or took part in any way. We are sending cancer to the bench!
