Finally, we have 1 special memorial scholarships to mention. Our special scholarships are in honor of Warren and Wilma Dierker. Mr. Dierker served on the Lonedell school board for 15 years while each one of his 6 children attended and graduated from Lonedell. Warren was a welder by trade. Wilma drove for BK Bus for Lonedell for 27 years and subbed for the next 10 years. Wilma was involved in Lonedell PTA and numerous other school activities while her children were growing up. Warren and Wilma’s passion was their family and farming. They lived in the community all of their life and were much respected in the community. Today , Carter Short, will be receiving our Warren and Wilma Dierker, Scholarship.
Our friends at Triple H Storage asked me to announce their scholarship winners. They are Ms. Piper Dunn and Ms. Charlie Winchester.
It is our honor to have been a part of your education. We know you have jobs and busy lives to get back to, so we will give you a moment to leave at this time. Thank you so much for coming. All of you make the Lonedell Community very proud!
