K-5 Science Fun
Mrs. Friel is having so much fun in her new position as K-5 Science Teacher. Take a look below at some of the interesting and educational experiments they did last week!
5th grade: We did an experiment using the Scientific Method! We investigated what happens when you mix whole milk, food coloring and dish soap! We learned how the fat in milk reacts with soap. It truly was a swirling experience!
2nd Grade: We read the book, Swimmy, by Leo Lionni and conducted an experiment investigating the importance of working together. We tested how much pressure 1 spaghetti noodle could take compared to a bundle of 6 noodles. We learned working together makes the job easier! This is true for people, too especially scientists!
